23.01.2022 Finishing off a 6.3m x 2.5m Estuary/Coastal centre console for a very good client of ours. Playing around with different props at present to get the best handling and performance out of the boat. We continue to surprise ourselves at the differences the shape of a prop makes (pitch aside) to a boats’ performance and handling. We always take advantage of our engine manufacturers prop selection programs to achieve the best out of our boats. Stay tuned.

22.01.2022 Just an update on the recreational sports fishing vessels that we will be offering in 5.7m - 6.2m. We have had a surprisingly large amount of interest in these vessels. Unfortunately due to our work load we have only been able to commence the build recently. We hope to turn the vessel over by the end of next week at which time we will post some more photos. Once we have completed this build we will be able to provide accurate costing which we are expecting to be competitive in the Australian recreational boating market.

17.01.2022 This is our 8.4m Search & Rescue Vessel. At Nautic Star we create boats to suit our clients requirements. This is an example of what we can and have produced for our clients. Please get in contact with us to see what we can do for you.

16.01.2022 This is our 6.7 metre centre console with a 2.5 metre beam. We designed this for Search and Rescue, compliant to 2C, 30nm survey with a 350 Litre fuel capacity. Starting fit out stage this week. Would also make a great fishing/recreational boat, just missing a live bait tank, kill tank and a heap of rod holders.

15.01.2022 Another vessel we handed over this week is to the new Milang Search and Rescue's squadron. This vessel purchase was only made possible through the extremely generous donation from the Freemasons group to the Milang Rescue Squadron. At the commissioning we had the opportunity to meet a lot of the key members of the Freemasons which allowed us an insight into their passion in helping the wider community and the great work they do. This vessel is 7.5m with a 2.5m beam with a single Yamaha 300hp 4 stroke. She has a top speed of 37knots with a comfortable cruise speed of 25-30knots. With the latest in Furuno electronics including a 24inch touch screen display and a 36 nautical mile radar and Flir. This vessel will also be providing support to the lower lakes based out of Milang.

14.01.2022 Just handed over to a client two 8.5tonne ATM, ADR federally compliant cat trailers. These trailers are fitted with an ABS air brake system, fresh-water flush down system as well as a 30 point automated greasing system.

14.01.2022 Currently under construction our 8.6m x 2.9m beam commercial offshore vessel. Designed to NSCV standards for 2C, 30nm using Llyods register rules for special service fast craft, vessels above 30knots with an impressive operational envelope. All welded by our Bureau Veritas certified welders. Check out the structure and the welding, including the double continuous welding in the impact zone. This is standard on all our fast craft commercial vessels. The video only shows 70% of the welding under the deck so far.

14.01.2022 Hey guys! Check out our latest video featuring our Plumb Bow Hull Design. We would love it if you can share this video with your friends too. Thank you for your on going support. https://youtu.be/CZKx2-WMF24

12.01.2022 We have just completed and handed over one of our 6.7m x 2.5m beam State Emergency Service rescue vessels. This vessel will be used to provide emergency support to the lower lakes including Lake Albert and Lake Alexandrina. She performs beautifully with a top speed of 34knots and a comfortable and economical cruise speed of 25knots. She also has a shallow draft to assist in getting into the shallow areas of the lakes.

11.01.2022 Recently completed a 4.5tonne ATM rated Aluminium trailer for a 7.4m Clayton Gallant. Check out the photos of the new trailer. This trailer is a full drive on/off trailer with all the highest quality components, engineered to provide a very smooth and safe towing capability. We think the new trailer really compliments the overall package.

11.01.2022 For the last few years, we have had many enquiries regarding our plumb bow boats in the 5.5m - 6.0m range. Up until now the smallest plumb bow boat in our range has been the 6.7m, designed and built in 2C, 30nm survey. Our objective for this new project is to design and build a premium small fishing/dive boat with all the performance and handling advantages of our plumb bow hull design, with self-draining deck under 2000kg for boat, motor and trailer with three size options.... 5.7m x 2.45m beam. 6.2m x 2.45m beam as well as a 5.9m x 2.3m beam. We will be offering these vessels in 3 stages of build. Stage 1 Hot works complete Stage 2 Hot works and paint or vinyl wrap Stage 3 Turn-key package ready to go fishing These designs utilize many years of R&D from our plumb bow hull design for the commercial sector. After 3 months of fine tuning we are very happy with the outcome. Expecting to commence the build of our new 5.7m x 2.45m beam in the next 2 weeks. For the boatie in the market for a lighter affordable inshore and offshore vessel that do not want to compromise on quality and performance, stay tuned. We will keep you updated throughout the build. This vessel will service the western side of the gulf of St Vincent and given its portability, the vessel is also capable of supporting operations in other parts of the state. The crew at Port Vincent had the commissioning ceremony last weekend attended by Minister for Emergency Services - Hon Vincent Tarzia MP, Mr Dominic Lane Chief Executive of SAFECOM, Mr Chris Beatty Chief officer of the SA SES, Mr Darryl Wright Manager, Volunteer Marine Rescue and the vessel blessed by Father David Amery amongst others. 02.01.2022 Just completed construction and testing of a 5.7m x 2.5m beam commercial Research vessel in EX40 for a client with unique requirements. The vessel had to be able to operate in shallow waters but still with the ability to comfortably handle choppy waters of up to 1 metre in height with excellent stability. The vessels main objective is to drive up to beacons for inspection and collect data.
