12.01.2022 At Nautilus Training, this is a familiar story. A young person commences their working life and career and, in order to make their employment more secure and to open up chances of advancement, undertakes training towards a vocational qualification. As they train with us and over time, we watch them grow - not just in maturity, but also in confidence, competence and commitment. And so it is with Biannaka Hazelden, an early childhood educator at Westernport Child Care Cranbourn...e, who completed her studies on the tenth of December and has been awarded the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113). Biannaka’s trainer, Kay, was really impressed with how much Biannaka developed, both as a person and a childcare professional, over the two years she was training her. Biannaka is skilled at interacting with children and families. She is very supportive of her work colleagues and adaptable to the many demands that fill an educator’s day in a busy, bustling childcare service. She accepts the challenges of leadership with open arms and steps into the role readily and willingly when her leadership skills are required. She has a very positive attitude at all times and shows a genuine can-do approach to everything she does. Biannaka, we join with your workplace colleagues in celebrating and congratulating you on your achievement. We appreciate your choosing us to support your professional learning and are grateful for the support and encouragement provided to you by your fellow educators and your workplace’s leadership. Good on you, Biannaka, great result!!!

Monica is an early childhood educator at Westernport Child Care Lang Lang. Being in the privileged position of having provided training to Monica, across two qualifications, b...oth with the same trainer, Kay, we get to know our students very well. We regard this as a privilege because, over this amount of time, we get many opportunities to see how much our students develop, professionally and personally. When asked for input for this completion announcement, Kay had many positive things to say about Monica, not the least of which was how much of a hard worker Monica is. Kay really enjoyed training Monica, whose friendly, warm and caring nature is not just limited to the children in her care. She is very much a ‘people’ person. She also has a calmness about her which puts others at ease, especially the children for who she cares.
