02.01.2022 The Sydney morning herald has today posted an article on jervis bay which is very confusing for those who do not live locally. The article talks about the closure to those in covid 19 listed areas from the booderee national park (greater syd, blue mountains, northern beaches, Wollongong & central coast) This is because the park is part of the ACT and governed by the current restrictions in force for ACT, to protect the aboriginal communities out in the national park and jervi...s bay village. The rest of jervis bay is OPEN. There are plenty of stunning beaches in huskisson and vincentia to visit. Like the one featured below, nelsons beach vincentia. The article has created confusion with those about to visit, please contact us if u have any questions about your upcoming stay. The national park was closed most of last year to those outside the area also because of covid, so not much has changed. Yes it’s disappointing that tourists can’t visit some of those beautiful spots, but it’s needed to protect the community. There’s plenty more to see and do in beautiful jervis bay! See more
