12.01.2022 Book in your Flu Vaccination for April! We now have stock of this seasons quadrivalent vaccine. The government supplied vaccine will be available in April (unspecified date). Most individuals from 6 months or older should consider flu vaccination.... Influenza season is looming near and the next few weeks are the optimal time to be vaccinated for greatest protection. Although peak season isn’t for a few months we have already seen Influenza strains appearing in Townsville and recommend early vaccination to avoid illness. Consultations for vaccination will be billed at medicare rebate with no additional out of pocket expense for government eligible patients. Vaccine cost is $30 otherwise. Dr Dan

07.01.2022 My time of Asana and Meditation in Rishikesh is ending for now. A wonderful time. I am looking forward to seeing students for our regular Fri 6-7.45am class w...here I will share more of what I have learnt . I am also offering a new lunch time beginners sequence class every Wednesday’s at 12.15-1.30pm. I hope this class will suit all people of all ability with both regular and flexible work hours, as well as Mum’s and Dad’s with school pickups. Please contact reception to register. 05.01.2022 Immensely grateful for these 4 last weeks of the moon sequence teaching course. Much metta to my dear fellow yoga friends and my excellent teachers Matthew Swee...ney, Stu Girling and Emile Wendel who shared this journey, of learning, observing, growing. Matthew did an outstanding job preparing us over the last year before the "actual" course had even started (experiential homeworks, stu' s anatomy course and Emile's pre course philosophy), while all had at least attended one of Mathew's one month courses before (so a lot of us reconnected again). The teaching course was very practical and hands on. I especially deepened my understanding of the moon sequence, therapeutic sequencing by itself or for moon and ashtanga practice "for all sorts of challenges" (knowing I can always rely on the psoas, right Stu! ) - still much to learn as the path unfolds-, yoga philosophy and...to just be with what is. We taught each other many classes one on one with different focus points, while also working things out in group work. While I'm always a student and practitioner first, I also (re)observed how much I love sharing yoga and how the last years have really been something, wonderful. The practice is a present to ourselves. It's humbling to share practice with others and it's always special to be part of someone's yoga journey. A big shoutout to all the wonderful practitioners at our yoga school in Groningen, we really have something very special going on in our yoga school where all can be. You all show up and make it happen, you inspire me! I'm blessed to return back to you. (And I'm super excited to also share the moon sequence with you!!) But for now it's quiet. Letting the last 4 wonderful, yet intense weeks sink in. It's time to rest for a few days, vacation is here, no agenda. Arrived in this little beautiful fishing village today, instantly fell in love with this place and all the most magnificent fishes and underwater structures (what an amazing underwater world it is, the closest corals are about 50m away from my bed), the village ease and sounds. This fish is happy to spend some days immersed in salt water marveling at all the colors and forms below waters surface Very curious how all unfolds for all who were part of this course.
