23.01.2022 We have been working closely with the commissioning crew of HMAS Supply II to support them for the arrival of the ship. All members of the crew, AORSPO Enterprise and SEA1654 Phase 3 Project team have received an "A195" pin to commemorate the arrival of NUSHIP Supply in Western Australia on Friday 2 October 2020. 23.01.2022 And she’s here! On Friday 2 October we celebrated the arrival in Australia of HMAS Supply II, the Royal Australian Navy’s first Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) ship. Supply recently completed a continuous transit at of more than 35 days where she experienced in all sea conditions. NUSHIP Supply will now undergo an Australian fit-out for the next few months involving a team of experienced Navantia and Australian defence industry specialists to perform the fit-out. 19.01.2022 She’s arrived! The first of two Royal Australian Navy’s new replenishment ships, NUSHIP Supply, has arrived in Western Australia. The 19,600t ship is designed t...o carry fuel, dry cargo, water, food, ammunition, equipment and spare parts to #AusNavy personnel deployed at sea for extended periods of time. In addition, the ship can be used to provide logistics support for #YourADF and to support humanitarian and disaster relief operations. Navantia Australia, together with UGL, Defence Science and Technology, Navy Technical Bureau were announced as winners of the 2020 Essington Lewis Awards Minor Sustainment Activity Under $50 million for the Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) Landing Craft (LLC) Enhancement Program. Led by the Amphibious Combat and Sealift System Program Office (ACSSPO), and Capability Support Coordinator, KBR, the collaborative multi-stakeholder engin...eering team achieved a significant enhancement to the LLC capability and have delivered significant cost savings for the Commonwealth over the next decade of service.
