25.01.2022 You are never too young to practice your yoga stands

22.01.2022 Following in the children’s love of cooking , I set up a cooking activity and today being Friday I invited the children to make challah (plaited bread). Making challa is a commitment, but my little master chefs were up for it . Getting the children involved in the kitchen is beneficial for so many reasons; The children practiced social skills by getting to work as a team , by waiting for their turn and helping one another.... They used cognitive skills as they counted ingredients, measured liquid and flour and followed instructions. Coordination skills were needed to pour and mix. we used language to name ingredients and describe the ingredients and We strengthened our muscles by kneading the dough. But most important of all we had FUN!

17.01.2022 The children can’t get enough of cooking activities whether it be outdoors cooking with sand and leaves or indoors with pots and pans!

16.01.2022 Tearing paper isn’t as easy as it looks but it’s really satisfying! It’s a great activity for strengthening the muscles in their hands, great co-ordination skill as hands have to move in different directions. It’s not an easy task but I always set up these challenging activities in a way that the children will succeed. I helped by tearing the paper a little before handing it to them
