21.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who made it to last night's event: Navitas Professional Darwin - Meet & Connect. This event was made possible in partnership with the Northern Territory Government and StudyNT.

20.01.2022 Welcome to Meet a Local #4! Learn about the business professional industries in Darwin! Networking is important, right? In fact, introducing yourselves to a gro...up of professionals can either make or break your chances of getting that dream job (or any job even) these days! While most international students in Australia are becoming more aware of this fact, they are also becoming equally fearful of the same. They feel like there’s a lot of pressure to make a good first impression with recruiters. If you relate to this, don’t worry! There are plenty of others like you out there. Afraid, hesitant and unsure. But what if we told you that we can make all those fears go away? Sounds like a blessing right? In the fourth networking event of the Meet a Local event series, hosted by the Darwin Sunrise Rotary and Kindness Shake, we will focus on business professionals. This event will provide opportunities for you to meet and network with locals, community leaders and volunteers while having some fun along the way! With five Rotary clubs across Darwin and Palmerston, you will be able to access the Rotary network of neighbours, friends, leaders and problem-solvers to grow personal networks and make a more comfortable transition into your new Territory life. Things to remember before the event: Smart casual clothes Good mood! Make sure you secure your spot because places are limited! If you need transport, you can let us know when registering. Registrations are essential for COVID safety. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information about the Rotary Club of Darwin Sunrise connect on Facebook through Darwin Sunrise Rotary, or visit www.rotarydarwinsunrise.net.au/ The Meet a Local is developed and delivered in partnership with the Rotary Club of Darwin Sunrise and Kindness Shake Inc. The project is supported by Study in Australia's Northern Territory through the Northern Territory Government. Will we see you there? * By signing up for this event, you're giving our sponsors and partners permission to contact you about upcoming events. #KindnessShake #StudyNT #northernterritory #darwin #Rotary

07.01.2022 Enrolling into a Navitas Professional Year Program is one of the best decisions someone can make in their life. I’ve never regretted making this decision. That’s what Dasanayake from Darwin had to say about her time with Navitas Professional. Her PYP allowed her to experience the Australian work environment and work on real projects that helped develop her skills as an accountant. ... Additionally, her mentor from her host company provided her with the support she needed to complete her placement. This experience allowed Dasanayake to boost her confidence for the Australian job search and widen her accounting knowledge. If you would like to see what the Navitas Professional Year program can help you with, follow the link below to find out more: https://study.navitas.com/NP-PYP-General.html
