25.01.2022 At times like this, its important to remember that mental health should be a priority for all and that supporting each other through change is important. Taking the time to understand how youre feeling can make all the difference to how you deal with challenges. Taking these steps be as simple as making sure youre getting a good nights sleep or talking to a friend about your concerns or feelings. 21.01.2022 Our REACH students have been hard at work experiencing everything that the program has to offer. After reaching the halfway point of the program, we asked these amazing students to think back about their highlights so far. In order to improve their retail skills REACH arranged a trip to the Apple Store. Students such as Bashir, got one on one time to talk with current Apple Store team members to learn what it takes to be in retail and answered all their questions.... Now that students are halfway through the program, we asked the ACHIEVE students about what they have enjoyed most so far. The students talked about their experience at the Employ Me First Expo where they were able to network with local employers. 16.01.2022 Congratulations to our REACH students for their progress so far! Were happy to announce that two REACH students were able to find part-time jobs. Their hard work has paid off with jobs at a local supermarket. Another REACH student has also found an internship at an IT company for three months.... Were pleased to support the Salvation Army in helping current and past students of Navitas English that may be struggling to get access to food for their families. ... We have been able to assist 79 families so far, and we want to help even more. See our helpers in Fairfield working together with the Salvation Armys Pastor David and Pastor Russel to get those food boxes to those who need them. 10.01.2022 Last year, some of our female students went on an excursion to Dress for Success at Marrickville. An organisation that supports women and their job search. They were given tips on their interview skills and were able to borrow formal clothing to use for their job interviews. Here is a video of their experience.
