23.01.2022 Do you know the 2-hour/ 4-hour rule? The 2-hour/4-hour rule is a good way to make sure potentially hazardous food is safe even if it’s been out of refrigera...tion. The rule has been scientifically checked and is based on how quickly microorganisms grow in food at temperatures between 5C and 60C. 20.01.2022 After 229 days - the Bharat Warriors Football Club will return to training tomorrow in small outdoor groups adhering to strict guidelines. The BFC HQ is in over...drive tonight as final preparations take place before hitting the track with equipment being sanitised, registers being setup and Covid-19 training guidelines being implemented. The club is also actively working to secure a block of games for later in the year when restrictions are eased and a return to field is made possible. In addition, the club will be extending agreements with inaugural sponsors (Westar Truck Centre & Nav Labs - Aus) for a further 12 months out of goodwill to compensate for the loss incurred as part of the Covid-19 pandemic. 06.01.2022 I am Rajdeep Kaur Kang, one of your Stony Creek Ward Independent candidates for the 2020 Maribyrnong City Council elections. As a local resident that was born a...nd raised in this area, I am well aware of the needs of my community. I believe that I can make a great contribution by being the voice of the people. I believe that what the local council needs is transparency and involving the people in decisions that matter to the people of Maribyrnong. I will be your voice by being openly accessible to you, even after I am voted in. I want to be the voice of the Maribyrnong community and furthermore the people of Stony Creek Ward, as I know there are particular needs that can make our ward a better place to live in. During these challenging times I want to help my community by supporting them through the Covid recovery. I am an Acupuncturist, herbalist and counsellor, so the issue of mental health (especially youth mental health) is very close to my heart. I believe that by providing more open spaces for our community, including sporting facilities and hubs will assist our community reconnect and heal by providing community connection. I also want to be an advocate for my fellow small business owners, so we can all get back on our two feet, but also support the reduction/waiving of rates as I know people are already doing it tough. I have been a volunteer in many different organisations, including volunteering on the Board at 3ZZZ Radio Station for the last 16 years. (Largest Ethnic Radio stations in Australia) I am currently Secretary of the organisation and believe I have a great skillset and I look forward to your support for the opportunity to represent my community.
