25.01.2022 I enjoyed sculpting a seamstress dummy for another project so much that I thought I'd make another one. That's why this figure has truncated arms, head and legs it started off as a mannequin but soon took on a more natural female form without my consent. I didn't use any reference material, just relied on mind's eye. 20.01.2022 When Albert Edward Hawkshaw Garling retired, the local paper wrote a tribute to this amazing intuitive, listing the roles he took on across his time working in the country NSW town of Tooraweena which included storekeeper, post master, stock and station agent, agriculture machinery expert, photographer, income tax assessor, barber and ladies hairdresser, mechanic, undertaker, dentist, veterinarian and medicine man setting fractures, stitching serious wounds, while building ...up a good reputation in diagnosis. A lot of this work was volunteered out of compassion rather than profit. 19.01.2022 My brother captured a startling light trail today in Parkes. "Dude- I got up at sparrafart for the meteor shower this morning (which was actually pretty good) but... Have you ever seen a string of satellites all a few degrees apart and on the same trajectory? Apparently there's groups of them sent up by Spacex. They're called "Starlink" I was a little freaked out. 13.01.2022 Stumbled upon @lushsux Elon Musk work this morning while buying my turnips at Strawberry Point. Musk's SpaceX has launched 422 Starlink satellites. They plan to launch 60 more per Falcon 9 flight, with launches as often as every two weeks in 2020. In total, nearly 12,000 satellites are planned to be deployed, with a possible later extension to 42,000. No wonder some astonomers are fuming....
