13.01.2022 Our Principal Mr Sam Cosentino and the Nazareth College Wellbeing team have put together this short video for R U OK day, outlining the 4 steps of starting a conversation. Yesterday was R U OK? Day, a national day of action and a reminder to start a conversation which could save a life by asking are you ok? If you feel like something is not quite the same with someone you know something is going on in their life or you notice a change in what they are saying or doing - ...trust that gut instinct and take the time to ask them. When ready to ask R U OK? It’s important to remember to be prepared and pick your moment. By acting and reaching out to anyone who's going through a tough time we can show them they are supported and encourage them to access help sooner. Use these four steps when starting an R U OK? conversation: 1. Ask R U OK? 2. Listen with an open mind 3. Encourage action 4. Check-in 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, current circumstances have made it even more important to stay connected, so let today be a reminder to connect. If you are not ok, please reach out to your friends or family, speak to your GP, Contact Kids helpline on 1800 551 800 or lifeline on 13 11 14.

Our second year VET VCE Music students are currently preparing a 30 minute program to present for their final VCE Performance exam. We wish them all the best for their upcoming performance and would like to share with you a snippet of their preparation.
