22.01.2022 Thank you to all the helpers for the Clean Up Australia Day. The club is passionate about working in with the local forestry rangers in helping to keep the areas we like visiting clean for us and the broader community. We had 6 vehicles at the Beerwah site and over 13 vehicles at the Kenilworth site, what a great turnout, and great camping at Kenilworth :) Also thank you to the crew at Moreton Districts Off Club that tagged along with the club to assist, well done guys! #CleanUpAustraliaDay

18.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting tonight and thank you for all your help. It was awesome to welcome so many new members and catch up with friends, as we try and navigate our way around all the future trips we have, and how to find time to mow the lawn......

16.01.2022 Hi members and guests. We know Covid19 is a ever changing scenario almost on a daily basis. With that view in mind my priority is the welfare of our members, family and friends. I consider our members to be our family and friends.... Therefore we will not be having a general meeting in April with the view of everyone’s well being in mind and we will review month by month as advice comes to hand. I believe this is a responsible course of action. We can certainly deal with any club management issues over electronic or phone communication so I would encourage you to do so. We have a great committee that understands their roles and what to do, and will continue to do so. We also have a number of trips coming up that will also likely be impacted and cancelled so its important to check with the trip leaders. But remember this, whilst it may be a inconvenience, the tracks and places we visit will still be there, but what’s more important is that our people are still here too. We have a varied membership of age and health and we want to ensure we are all here for the future. Both myself and the committee have always been committed that the money is not the priority, and never will be. Our people come first. Financially we are in a good shape to weather it, thanks to our members and a great treasurer, but if need be I will tip money in if required ensuring this organisation that has been built with passion from its members remains. 15.01.2022 The year still wasn't quite done for us, we had our 2020 trip planning day at the presidents house where we now have planned over 32 trips for 2020 already, which will include a High Country trip in 2020, and a Tasmania trip in 2021. All the kids also had fun swimming in the pool, as did the adults as we discussed upcoming trips and all the recce's in between and what Xmas deals we can buy for our trusty rigs........and get away with it, whilst having and bbq celebrating the great year it was. Then the evening was finished off with a Xmas lights tour with 15 vehicles to really get us into the spirit. We had prizes for best dressed vehicle including a $50 fuel voucher :)

14.01.2022 What a fantastic effort by some of our club members, they made sure that Santa that came to our club Xmas party was also able to help out another organisation to make sure the kids had a special visitor to brighten up their Xmas. What great community spirit to help out. Well done, and we are very lucky to have such a great Santa!

08.01.2022 All set up at the Moreton Bay Caravan, Camping, Boating and 4x4 show. It’s been a busy weekend already with many enquiries and thank you to everyone helping on the stand. Drop in and say hi!

03.01.2022 Was great to see everyone tonight as the club had its first online meeting. A few laughs, some great plans and a lot to look forward too , but importantly staying in contact. We had over 30 plus people online, well done!
