25.01.2022 Also good for settling babies. I think I used mine every day for the first couple of months!

22.01.2022 It’s #maorilanguageweek this week and I have been loving these divine Birth affirmation images from Home Birth Aotearoa Such a beautiful way to anchor in your home, your culture and your family. These days we are often living apart. I’d love to see if you have any special birth affirmations or cultural traditions you use when bringing your baby earth side.

18.01.2022 I’m not very good at the selfie thing! Here I am though getting ready to teach my first online childbirth Education class. It’s been hard for birthing women all over the world while this Covid thing is going on. Especially here in Melbourne where women are being stripped of their support and now access to water in labour. Birthing women, know this, you are in all of our hearts and minds. Support now just comes in new and different ways. Online, zooms and FaceTime calls, meals delivered, washing done- whatever. Find a way to support a new Mum today. Don’t forget you can still access help, especially for mental health reasons! Kylie @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

16.01.2022 Gosh, I’ve done this walk with couples so many times. I love seeing other people’s reactions to a couple about to bring their baby earth side. You get the Mumma’s that are remembering that walk for them selves, a little smile sharing the amazing knowledge of what is about to come! I’ve also had a nurse in the ED say to me oh yes she is definitely in labour, like really #Repost @bellybellybaby with @make_repost "This is so real for anyone ...who’s done the slow walk into a hospital during labour, stopping every few minutes down the long hallways. Sometimes you gotta stop and ride that contraction on your way to labor and delivery. Every little moment is part of the story." Who remembers these slow walks? Share the memories this photo brings back in the comments below! 16.01.2022 This little one arrived last Sunday. My second time supporting this beautiful family. Every birth is different and I’m continuously in awe of the birthing woman. Grateful too for the amazing midwife we had supporting us. This Bub is now enjoying life earth side and surrounded by her adoring older brothers and a loving M & D. Such a sweet way to complete her little family. ... I have limited spaces for birth support for the rest of the year. So please reach out if you are wanting a Doula. My childbirth classes are also available and these can be booked in your own home. DM me if interested. See more

15.01.2022 My good friend is offering this great package. If you have a little one and need some sleep help then please get in touch with her. @katieparkerpostpartum #Repost @katieparkerpostpartum with @make_repost Are you needing support with your baby’s sleep?... Yesterday I had a Zoom session with the parents of a 10 week old baby who were looking for some gentle support with their baby’s sleep. It was a great session and they left with some new knowledge about the science of infant sleep and a collection of strategies to try over the next couple of weeks. Today we had a follow-up call and I was so thrilled to hear this feedback from the mum: ‘It’s only day one and my day has already been so much more relaxing’. Taking the pressure off trying to get their baby to sleep, learning about the two sleep regulators, putting all the non-evidence-based mainstream sleep advice out of their heads and being open to experiment with a new approach is all it’s taken for this couple to enjoy life with their baby so much more. I am incredibly passionate about the Neuroprotective Developmental Care approach to the care of parents and babies (also known as the Possums Programs @possumsonline) and am proud to be an Accredited NDC Practitioner. My new infant sleep support package includes a one hour Zoom call and 5 days of audio/text message support and is $200. If you’re interested in booking this, please get in touch!

15.01.2022 So much better than the milkshake version Honestly what were they thinking? Also if you have teens or toddlers I highly recommended following Lael Stone

15.01.2022 These little things are so important at helping small business thrive. While it maybe a bit late now to order online in time for Christmas, shares and likes really help and you never know when the right product/ service will pop up in a friends recommendation. #shopsmall

13.01.2022 Woo hoo! We’re back baby! And no, it doesn’t surprise me that The Mercy is yet to join the ranks. Fantastic news though for Birthing women and their Families

13.01.2022 When the Herbalist doesn’t have a vase, she uses her stock bottles! A little early peek of Spring! BTW after the crazy winds last night here in Melbourne my windows are pretty dirty

11.01.2022 Ugh Head Colds! Our household is currently dealing with this. Boosting our immune system with lots of zinc and Vit C. Herbs and a dash of manuka honey. Remember not to put your ‘live’ manuka into steaming hot tea as the heat will kill some of the active properties of the honey. Let it cool a bit first before adding. ... It’s important in this new era of viruses, we don’t lose sight of the importance of supporting our immune system. Traditional remedies have been around for hundreds of years for a reason. I always like exploring the why of getting sick. Stress, change are often key factors in our triggers for sickness. It’s not a bad thing either. A chance to rest, review and renew. Look after yourselves, rest, eat well and exercise the body, mind and soul! See more

08.01.2022 Vernix, the wonder cream

05.01.2022 Weekend reading for the soul. What are you reading at the moment? I’m being really gentle with myself at the moment as we are still in lockdown. I’m giving thanks for the small blessings such as reading, phone calls from friends and amazing tribe of women I’ve been working with in the last 6months. Bring on the bubble with the Family

01.01.2022 Gladioli’s will always make me think of my Nanna. This is the only bulb that has flowered this year and very late in the season too. It seems appropriate that a week after saying goodbye to my Uncle, her eldest son that this one with the most delicate pink colour has come into bloom. I am forever grateful for the lessons nature brings us, it’s symbols, colors and cycles. I know Nan is watching over and holding all of us as we process the loss of a great and beloved man, this is her way of letting us know she always will be. Now as I await the birth of a sweet baby I am fully aware of the cycles of life and all the symbols, colors and cycles it too will bring. Grateful for my team that held and supported me while I said goodbye too, much love. @cindyfenn__ plus my team at work too.
