The package is encouraging small to medium businesses to spend on equipment and other investments through an extension of the instant asset write-off, increasing the maximum from $30,000 to $150,000. 07.01.2022 Convenience of dealer finance, is it cheaper? When you purchase a new or used car at a dealership the sales process is for you to have a conversation with the Business Manager to see if they can assist with the finance, which is very convenient. We recently had a look at the numbers for a referral from one of our client's. Their friend purchased a new car and financed it at the dealer.... The numbers at first glance looked very high, unfortunately they were. After going through the numbers so we could compare apples for apples, we calculated that if the client had financed the car with us we would have saved the client $10,000 over the term of the loan (five years). We are always happy to compare the dealer to quote to our range of funders to see if you can get a better deal. If the dealer quote is a good one and we can't match it, we will always be up front with you and tell the client that they have a good deal.
