25.01.2022 All are welcome at the Monto Landcare AGM tonight at 5:30pm at the Landcare Hall on Kelvin Street. Let's keep this volunteer community group alive and get it thriving again!

23.01.2022 It was another lovely day in the Landcare Gardens for playgroup last week. We are so blessed to have this space.

19.01.2022 What's in your backyard? Costa from Gardening Australia and Junior Landcare are asking kids across Australia to grab a camera and snap photos of the flora and fauna in their backyard. All you have to do is take a photo, tell them what’s in your backyard and why it is important to you. Entries close 20 April and prizes include camera's and a possible visit from Costa to our local school. If you haven't seen him in person yet, he is a force of nature and an awesome role model for children. More details are available through this link: https://juniorlandcare.org.au/campaig/whatsinyourbackyard/

18.01.2022 Monto Landcare AGM is on Wednesday 14 October at 5:30pm at the Landcare Hall. We need your support! We are in danger of folding the Landcare Group in Monto unless we get some members (new and existing) to come along to the AGM and some people to put their hand up for some positions. There are some exciting projects coming up like the construction of an early settlers hut, and we have a couple of active volunteers involved, but we need your help to keep going. We have an incredibly rich history in Monto and with a bit of support, we have a very bright future. If you can help, or know someone that can, please send a message to current President Jaiben Baker or through our facebook page.

15.01.2022 Playgroup is on TOMORROW (Friday) from 9:30am at the Landcare Hall. See you there!

03.01.2022 The new Monto Landcare executive team! Thank you to everyone who stepped up to take on a role at our recent AGM, and those who are or have become members. While this is the new public face for Monto Landcare there are so many volunteers helping out in the background. If you’d like to join us, please get in touch!
