25.01.2022 Another Telstra/NBN conduit from the house to the Telstra network pit. Rather scarey having the gas lead-in pipe only 1 foot below ground level. Always trying to be so careful when others are being stupid with their work requirements. Extra care taken under the footpath and driveway. A terrific job in the end.

24.01.2022 Normally a fencer will call us to repair an accident. But when the damage is caused by the landlord cutting corners it takes a lot longer to repair. And the tenants have to suffer until they call us. There is no doubt the landlord should be paying for all this work.

23.01.2022 It is only our experience, expertise and vast range of tools and test equipment that can rectify incorrect installation practises and damage by unqualified individuals to ensure that you receive a faultless service on demand. Dont make the bad decisions thinking a cheap service is money saved in the long run.

23.01.2022 I shake my head when I see this sort of work. It makes me scream to think that there are people out there who claim that they are qualified technicians and pretend to fix your problems.

23.01.2022 Installing a new lead-in for the NBNs Optic Fibre at a business.

22.01.2022 FTTN. Fibre To The Node. Still using the useless copper wiring in the street. And nobody is fixing it still. Your service provider call centre has no idea. Just call us for less stress and a quicker resolution. Thats what we do.

22.01.2022 The Telstra/NBN technicians could not get a cable to the house.

21.01.2022 All our visits to repair faults are backed up with a written report and photos of our test equipment readings.

21.01.2022 Blaming your service provider for damage on your internal cable will not see it fixed in a hurry. And chances are theyll never find this damage. This is rodent damage. Sometimes the possums are so hungry theyll eat the network on the pole.

21.01.2022 I understand that there may be multiple things in the ground around your premises but care MUST be taken. Just a little advance digging around unknown pipes can help identify what you are about to put the shovel through. This was a temporary fix until the cable could be replaced.

19.01.2022 Dont buy these houses. The lead-in were left in the driveway to be completed later on. There is now concrete and the overseas owners are not prepared to have qualified technicians determine exactly how this will be connected to the Telstra/NBN network. This is very typical of so many wannabe builders.

18.01.2022 No internet. No phone service. No NBN service. Most of us are quite happy to blame the NBN for all of our problems. Sometimes part of the problem is inside. Our complete assessment will sort out inside and then outside. A comprehensive report will help to prevent you looking like a complete turkey and provide the best ammunition when it comes to resolving any network issues and perhaps compensation from your service provider.

17.01.2022 I understand that there are generally 2 speed packages available for NBN customers. Closer to 100Mbps is likely to be the faster and more expensive option. This is aconnection speed, not a download speed. these figures can be found inside your modem settings. These speeds do not apply to the absolutely botched up lie commonly known as Fibre to the Node. My heart truely bleeds for you.

17.01.2022 NBN network faults. Unfortunately, the NBN network connection to your house/business may involve some of the old phone cabling. This joint right out the front was full of water. Probably coming in through the old damaged phone cable below the joint.

16.01.2022 Corrosion is just one of multiple problems that may exist on the HFC cabling. This is also a problem for your Foxtel and Bigpond cable internet. As long time service technicians in this area these are just one many issues that needs to be checked.

16.01.2022 Sometimes, the phone wiring for your apartments has a special room where there is a distribution frame. These may be below ground level and many times a lot of moisture exists on the walls and your connections. One place had the floor flooded and the whole frame of several hundreds phone lines needed replacing. The visiting technician will not tell you this, however, a report needs to be forwarded to the body corp for immediate attention. Your service provider will deny that there is any problem. Our test equipment can quickly identify the problem and location.

14.01.2022 Some residents who receive their internet service via Fibre to the Node are so surprised to hear that their phone wiring may still be connected to a solder frame in their building. They are even more surprised when I explain and show them the condition of their connections left by previous technicians. As ex-Telstra exchange technicians we are quite familiar with the importance of good cabling and its connections. Dont risk unlicensed technicians. Theres no warranty, no insurance and no satisfaction.

13.01.2022 The NBN technician could not find the existing cable in the garden bed and refused to acknowledge it when shown by the home owner. They wanted to install an overhead cable to a beautiful house and totally out of character for the area. We liaise with the service provider to confirm the situation and installed the box ready for the next technician.

12.01.2022 This block of units has NBN FTTN but the existing phone wiring is clearly not to standard. Internal phone wiring is attached to the outside of the building and has been destroyed by the weather. The external sheath has shrunk and become extremely brittle with the internal copper wires also left bare to the rain and other elements.

10.01.2022 When fixing NBN Faults we draw upon our extensive experience in repairs and auditing around Victoria. We have come across a huge variety of issues on the network that will never be fixed without our help.

10.01.2022 Recently, we attended a premises with constant ADSL issues. The previous technician sub-contracted to fix the problem had ignored basic testing and put the onus on the customer to get someone else. Using advanced testing equipment we found issues were obviously on the Telstra network and at the service providers Main Distribution Frame. Multiple tests on the premises phone wiring with proof of findings confirms no faults are present. We provided a record of our testing and a written report to support further action by the service provider. Our experience and skills along with the testing records and report would help in achieving some reimbursement for the previous technicians incompetence.

09.01.2022 Our experience as NBN auditors has led us to recognise the potential reason for faults on the NBN (Telstra) network. Water ingress inside the (supposed) waterproof cable joint leads to heavy corrosion of the copper phone wiring. Nothing has gotten better. The materials used appear poorer quality and the technicians efforts to give a damn are awesome (not).

07.01.2022 Unfortunately, the house phone wiring still had plenty of issues and would constantly cancel the phones e service connected to the NBN modem. It took a lot of patience, searching and testing to isolate multiple issues on the unusual phone cabling. Really important when trying to run a business. A good result in the end for everyone.

07.01.2022 Crews are replacing asbestos Telstra pits around Australia and theyre doing a terrific job. Unfortunately, it can mean someone may lose there NBN connection.

05.01.2022 Today a client was told that their new NBN service was connected and working. Unfortunately, the network in the pit indicates otherwise. After talking with the service provider we managed to book their technician to attend the premises the next day. The customer was ever so grateful.

03.01.2022 This test shows the slower speed package offered for the NBN. Generally, you can expect a connection speed of approximately 55Mbps. This is a connection speed, not a download speed. This is how quickly your modem connects.

02.01.2022 Another new underground lead-in for the NBN. Extremely difficult digging due to the dry and compacted ground. A jack hammer was used for the whole trench due to the other services in the ground.

02.01.2022 Our auditing of the FTTN NBN network throughout Victoria revealed a complete failure. Not one joint passed. The Liberal governments alternative to fibre to the premises is already costing more than the original Labour costings.

02.01.2022 A dual SIM dialler being installed to replace the non-functioning Telstra phone network.

01.01.2022 Telstra no longer offers responsibility to maintain your apartment buildings MDF. This is now in the hands of the Body Corp who will never visit your property. The service provider technician is not interested in going beyond what is required if you dont care about your infrastructure. None of these connections are soldered meaning there is a layer of filth between your internal wiring and the service providers service.
