We can tell you that Santa's flight plan has been logged and within hours, he will be on his way to Australia. Jacko had to get video proof (against the wishes of the peanut gallery in the background) the second time around to prove that he could do it again in pretty blustery conditions. 18.01.2022 A big week of footy for the SUNS. Kicking off tomorrow night with our ladies taking on the @uni_hawks_afc, before another massive day of footy on Saturday with the Swans and Bulldogs both making their way north of the river to tackle our Juniors and Seniors. The Youth girls and 15s get a break with both having a bye this weekend, while our ladies will be backing up to play their second game in 4 days. Games kick off at 8am and as always, we would love a few volunteers to give us a hand during the day. 18.01.2022 The Executive committee are pleased to announce that the U17's coach for the 2021 season is Dave Beaumont. Dave has previously coached our 13's and 17's and brings some great experience and ideas into the role, along with bringing the same desire and drive that saw him win the Seniors Best and Fairest award this season. He will be working closely with Coaching Coordinator, Andrew Lowing as well as the Senior teams coaches to ensure our 17's are well prepared for their progression into Senior football. Senior coach Brad McLaren has been working very hard behind the scenes for our first big signing of the new season. 14.01.2022 FairPlay Round 2 Voucher Extension Just a reminder that due to the issues surrounding COVID-19 and the postponement of sport and recreation at all levels, Round 2 FairPlay voucher redemption expiry has been extended to 25 November 2020. This means vouchers can be presented to an Activity Provider until 11 November 2020 and it can still be redeemed online by your organisation until 25 November 2020.

06.01.2022 The 9's and 11's season wrapped up today with a modified Jake Spencer gala day held at The Green. A bit of rain last night, combined with the howling winds we have had over the last month finally disappearing, led to some hot and steamy conditions for the kids to battle through. There was great representation from the NB SUNS, Bulldogs, Swans, Tigers and Hawks even with it being the first weekend of school holidays. The future of AFL in Townsville is looking bright.
