06.01.2022 Marine plastic is not just bottles, straws and bags; the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is mostly made up of abandoned fishing gear. Lost or dumped nets are responsible for injuring, suffocating and strangling an estimated 100,000 whales, turtles, seals and fish each year. Lets support organisation like Greenpeace to clean up our oceans. You can help with a tax deductible donation at www.greenpeace.org.au/donate (Garment made of recycled plastics by Ruby, Phoebe and Oden and modelled by Taneesha)
