Utilising photography, sculpture, collage, and installation [emerging artist Mark Jones] aims to provide a space in which to explore the contemporary culture of underground graffiti artists. An immersive and experiential space that investigates the psychogeographical map instinctively used within this culture. A radically transversal navigational pattern, with the potential of transforming alienated urban life into a surprisingly deep, rich and creative daily experience. Historically the culture of underground graffiti has been viewed as an illegal and destructive pursuit. Having been active within the community for over 13 years Mark sees the culture from a unique perspective, a perspective that includes the camaraderie, creativity and insatiable thirst for adventure that exists within it.
