21.01.2022 It is with great delight that I can say the beautiful Esteem and I are a team again! I had the pleasure of training and competing Esteem successfully as a 4yo and she quickly became one of my all time favourite horses. Earlier this year Esteem and I were reunited in Canberra and Covid-19 gave us a chance to quietly settle into our new partnership.... Finally, this weekend at the Canberra Covid Classics we made a triumphant return to competition winning the 7yo Young Horse class with solid scores of up to 77% It was wonderful to share the experience with Esteem’s owner who flew down from QLD for the competition. We are so thankful to Dr. Suzanne Polak from Canberra Equine Hospital for helping to keep Esteem in tip top condition. Also thanks to Nina Boyd for the super encouraging training sessions at home. It is an absolute honour to be riding Esteem again and I am so excited about her future

16.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has recently followed my page, I’ve been very inactive but for good reason although it’s time now to share some horsey love again with you all. For just over a year now I’ve been employed by Canberra Performance Horses as an assistant trainer to Nina Boyd. I cannot thank Nina and Stevie enough for the opportunities they have given me thus far, riding some of the best horses I’ve ever worked with and training with international trainers and judges. I ...wished I had returned from Europe sooner! Certainly my time in Germany allowed me to collect tools to add to my bag and CPH has both encouraged and guided me to utilise these skills better than anywhere else before. The competition results are also coming, last weekend I set a PB of nearly 73% at Advanced on the incredible 7yo mare Benicia (by Benicio), who has only just stepped up to this level. Aside from kicking riding goals, CPH has offered a village full of amazing individuals that give our own special meaning to the phase ‘teamwork makes the dream work’. The village is made up of the most diverse group of people in terms of age, riding level, financial wealth and yet everyone is treated equally because of one common denominator... our passion, love and devotion to our horses I saw something online recently that resonated with with me thanks to my time here with the CPH Village: ‘Which is more important,’ asked Big Panda, ‘the journey or the destination? ‘The company’ said Tiny Dragon
