24.01.2022 Last night we celebrated the official launch of Project Sprouts, a community-led initiative supported by Neighbourhood Central. The Project Sprouts initiative ...was formed by local schools, preschools, councilors, businesses and community organisations all determined to create a working model to screen children for developmental health before they start school. Project Sprouts aims to support parents, upskill teachers and identify children needing early intervention support. To read more about this project visit https://bit.ly/3m3J36a.

16.01.2022 This week is National Child Protection Week with the theme being ‘Putting Children First’. Putting children first means prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children. To grow up well children need to feel safe and loved, have a chance to play and explore, have a say in decisions that affect them, and to essential things like food, shelter, and healthcare. For children to thrive we need to come together as a community and put children’s needs first. - NAPCAN It takes a village to raise a child, and together we can all make a difference. #playyourpart #ncpw20 #NCPW
