09.01.2022 ATTENTION, LONG POST BUT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ Here are some ways to show respect to our volunteers. Please remember every single person invo...lved with KKMRL is a volunteer... Communication must be a top priority : Your 1st point of call with any issues involving your child within their respective teams are your Team Coach or Manager. If and only if it can not be resolved by either of these volunteers then it will be escalated to the Executive Committee. Respect their time : Phone calls, Facebook Messages or emails to any volunteer whether it be your Team Coach, a Committee Member or Club needs to be done at a respectful time. Calls, messages or emails at 6am or after 9pm are not acceptable and will not be answered at the time. Volunteers are donors; the gift is time, not money : Please remember our volunteers have full time jobs. If they have asked for something to be completed by a certain time it is usually for a reason.. Our volunteers do this to help create pathways for our children.. Make it easy to volunteer : Show respect and treat them as you would like to be treated. Keep your cool in heated situations and refrain from swearing or name calling. This will not be tolerated within our club. Put your hand up and help out when asked.. Express gratitude for their services and time : A simple Thank You is sometimes all a volunteer needs to hear too know they are doing a great job..
