15.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who has jumped on board the NCR Perth page and to everyone who has supported me since I have been operating back here in Perth, it really means a lot. If you are not sure what the service is all about basically I am an UberX registered driver with a high standard of service and a luxury vehicle. I take on private bookings, think airport drop off and pick up, sporting events, weddings, dinners, gigs, festivals etc. Pre booking is important to ensure I can be... available at the required time. 15.01.2022 A lot of people may be wondering how the new regulation costs to Uber drivers are going to affect myself and other drivers. Of course the extra yearly cost will be a burden considering the costs of running the vehicle and already paying income tax, but it was inevitable that the government were going to stick their hands deeper into our pockets at some stage so I'm sure we can suck it up and get on with business as usual. HOWEVER THERE IS A MAJOR POSITIVE OUT OF THIS. That i...s that the government and wider community are accepting Uber as a legitimate service which will be here to stay, any exposure is good exposure I say. To anyone worried about the "security" and "safety" of using Uber I implore you to give it a try. If you are concerned about a "stranger" driving you around just ask yourself, Did you know and trust the last taxi driver you used? Was he even the guy in the photo? Did you have his registration details before AND after the trip? Were you able to contact him after? Did you get to rate him and leave feedback which could lead to him/her losing his/her job with too many unhappy customers.And how many times has a dispatch operator refused to send you a cab because there was a taxi rank within a short walk? Maybe you don't want to go for a short walk you want them to come to you. If you are still unsure I will personally run you through your first experience.
