21.01.2022 NAIDOC Week celebrations are usually held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year however, due to the ongoing circumstances, NAIDOC week celebrations are held from the 8th to the 15th of November. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life! Autism Abilities equally acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land where ...we live, work and travel upon and pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We also recognise the resilience, strength and pride of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
