18.01.2022 Today’s education post. Although Prong collars are illegal to import into Australia -they are still here. This outdated tool is a barbaric way to train a dog or indeed any animal. It is STRONGLY recommended by RSPCA and dog behaviourists alike to use alternative positive based training. Not bullying. It is illegal to use them in Victoria.

11.01.2022 With incredible sadness, we said goodbye to Instructor Dog Mojo. He was diagnosed with lymphoma (cancer) 10 days ago and was put to sleep today. He spent his last few days being spoilt at work with us and being unaware of what the fuss was about. Was lucky that he could go before he was in unbearable pain. His bowels were completely blocked with cancerous masses. Only 3 years old. Our thanks to all at Unanderra Vets for the compassion and care they have shown. I am grateful that he could be put to sleep when it suddenly became urgent to do so.
