25.01.2022 My cousin came up from melbourne for the week and I wanted to do a test shoot with him since I was wanting to shoot a body builder mate later down the track. Hieu was a real trooper and stepped right out of his comfort zone to pose for me. He did really well and I'm pleased with the results :)

24.01.2022 Here are a few of my photos from an amazing wedding day for my sister in law Lizzie Keyte and my new BILIL (Brother In Law In Law) Ben Vercoe! I'll upload more as I edit them :)

23.01.2022 Last night I attended an event with a photography group out at Tamrookum to shoot some stars :) This was a wonderful location, albeit a bit cold (I was wearing 2 sets of socks, jeans, tracksuit pants over the jeans, 2 shirts and 2 jackets lol) Very enjoyable nonetheless!

23.01.2022 I got some goodies for my birthday on Tuesday, one of which was a new Olympus 45mm f1.8 lens for my OM-D E-M10, so I thought I would take it for a spin at lunch time. This busker is usually here most days and is one of the better ones! Hope you enjoy the photo :) #olympus #em10 #brisbane #brisbanephotographers #brisbanebuskers #street #streetmusic

18.01.2022 Another from out at Tamrookum. This one was taken on an old Sigma 15-30mm Nikon mount lens via an adapter. Came out pretty good I thought!

15.01.2022 It's taken me a while to upload these, but December last year I got to work with a lovely model by the name of Lien. She teaches yoga and wanted to showcase some of her poses.

13.01.2022 I realised the other day that I've never tried to take a photo of my violin... So I thought I would practice with just the 1 light and a reflector :) I started learning violin at the age of 7 and have played in various orchestras, including QYO2 for a few years. I don't play it anywhere near as much as I should these days, but I still love it. I've had this violin for about 25 years now. My teacher at the time, Alex Smirnov, found this gem from a person who just wasn't pla...ying it, and it showed. On the right hand side you can see quite a substantial scratch caused by the fine tuner not having a string on it for a lengthy period of time. This doesn't hinder the beautiful sound that comes from this violin though. Enjoy!

11.01.2022 Well... I missed out on yesterday's epic sunrise... and a few epic sunrises before that too. This was one of the few times I was up before my kids, so I was keen to head out and catch this morning's sunrise. I had read that it was going to be cloudy, so I was hoping for a repeat performance of yesterday. Unfortunately, the cloud cover was super heavy down at Cleveland Point, so sunrise was a bit of a bust with very little colour in the sky. I ended up making the most of m...y time there this morning, and even ran into an old school friend! I hope everyone is having a swell weekend :)

11.01.2022 Another one from Cleveland Point :)

04.01.2022 I went to Stanthorpe this weekend to visit family and took the opportunity to head out and capture some stars :) This was taken at 10pm and as much as I wanted to wait for the rest of the eye of the milky way to rise up, I just didn't have as much time to do that so here is what I managed to get! Enjoy!
