20.01.2022 Bilstein shocks for the race car. I have been in contact with Bilstein Australia for some time about producing shocks for the race car. They have previously mad...e rears for Danny Castro's race car. They have been provided with all corner weights, sprung and unsprung weights etc. Hopefully have them installed for Phillip Island next year. There may be a resultant opportunity to buy roadster shocks for road use direct from Bilstein. But it is likely the shocks from Datsunrestorationproducts in the USA will be a more economic proposition. I will let everyone know. I currently run the standard Nissan race spring kit with adjustable Konis (stamped 1981). The Konis are set at 3/8th of a turn from softest, thicker front sway bar and thin rear sway bar. I can not complain about performance and handling, so will be interesting to see if there are improvements in times with the new Bilstein shocks. See more

15.01.2022 I've been working with Apex Engineering for a few months to get some aftermarket support for the 311. These are the prototypes. I am recommending geasable join...ts with dust boots for the final version. Toe and steering wheel adjustment will now be independently adjustable! More to come, contact Apex Engineering if you find yourself interested. I am not monetarily driven or directly affiliated with AE. But I wanted something better than what Rare Parts has or the original parts. Enjoy

02.01.2022 I’ve heard a lot about the long tube headers (extractors ?) made in Australia but have never actually seen any back to back Dyno results comparisons with the re...gular run of the mill headers or even stock Anyone have any? I understand they would make more power in the upper ranges since it helps breathing but What I’m curious to find out is would they make a difference in my setup knowing my car is tuned to make its power in the midrange and I have 2 exhaust system (1 7/8 trough the frame and 2 after muffler) That’s why I would like to see back to back results if there’s any
