11.01.2022 We met with Barnaby Joyce and other electrical contractors today to try to get our customers power meters quicker, as the current red tape makes it almost impossible to provide this service. Here's what Barnaby had to say. Please no comments about his personal life!! " I might be on leave from parliamentary duties but I'm still passionately advocating in the interests of my constituents, like one of the meetings I had today with local electrical contractors to discuss issues and concerns arising from legislation changes to the National Energy Retail Rules which govern power meter connections and service. There was good discussion on ways we can look at cutting red tape for these tradies and deliver a faster, more cost effective service for their customers."
