18.01.2022 I would like to dedicate the honour of being awarded an Order of Australia to my immediate family. To Jan, Lauren and Mick, Luke and Jess, Bec and Drew and Ben and Maddi. Your love and support has sustained and powered me, even more so since my diagnosis. You are there for me everyday caring for me. I want to acknowledge it’s difficult to bare witness to a progressive terminal disease which is MND but your presence by my side is so important to me. This presence, and especially the grandkids, Cooper & Rosie remind me everyday to focus on what I have in my life, not what I haven’t. As a family we’ve learnt that life is fragile and all the possible beautiful things in your life are not guaranteed to be there tomorrow, so look out for them and enjoy them when they arrive. Play on.

As a result of Big Freeze beanie sales and 10c from every Coles Brand Fresh Pork Product sold, Coles and their customers raised an incredible $5.2M for FightMND. Amazing! #bigfreeze6

11.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce $10.68M has been invested into 16 new and innovative MND research projects for the FightMND 2020 Research Grant Round. This takes th...e total contribution towards MND research initiatives from FightMND to $48.45M since 2014. These projects, led by passionate researchers nationally and internationally, include 1 clinical trial, 8 IMPACT grants and 7 Drug Development projects. Thank you to the FightMND Army for making this possible, those who bought a beanie, held community events and donated. Your outstanding support this year has allowed vital MND research to progress, providing further hope for the future of developing effective treatments and a cure for MND. 08.01.2022 Off the back of the announcement of $11.9M raised in total for Big Freeze 6, I would like to personally thank the FightMND Army for again rallying to our cause. Without your ongoing, passionate support, we would never have been able to achieve this phenomenal tally. I would also like to thank our fantastic major partners; the Australian Government, Channel 7, Herald Sun, Coles, Bunnings, AFL & BetEasy. Now we need to put this money to work to continue the fight against the beast. The following video shows how we do this. The fight continues.
