20.01.2022 Wanted to share a fantastic achievement for Tara - She was awarded two awards tonight, one a 'Highly Commended' at the 2014 Youth Writing Competition - Top six out of over 800 entries into that category alone. Here is 'Transparent' I awake To the sound of silence, The impossibly quiet... Sound of silence. The valley is empty, Deserted, unoccupied And the rustle of the trees, No longer ridden with the chirping of the winter birds. The sky is empty. No clouds, No sun to fly in a background of blue. A flicker of light grows in the darkness. My world is transparent. See more

19.01.2022 Such exciting news - The Montessori Children's Literature Festival have asked Tara to be a guest speaker and hold a workshop Q/A for primary/high school students attending. Other guest writers include MORRIS GLEITZMAN and OLIVER PHOMMAVANH who just happen to be two of her favourite authors. What an opportunity - she is very excited!
