23.01.2022 I havent really had my own space to create in for a while now. I find that having a space dedicated to my work spurs on my creativity and makes the beginning, middle, and end so much more fluent. I havent got much content to show at the moment but thatll be changing soon and I cant wait to show you what we come up with!

16.01.2022 sound. - Ive considered sound design to be more important than the visuals it accompanies lately. A piece can look beautiful, be emotionally captivating and shot to perfection but without careful sound design its just an image. Sound bridges the gap being seeing and feeling, it is the element that draws you in to what youre watching. 05.01.2022 United We Stand 2019 - North East SA - This was originally a multi-cam set up. It became way too hard though to control multiple cameras myself so I ended up with a single cam and timed my shots. Usually I go into these big events with the shoot everything and hope for gold mentality, but this year I slowed down and considered my shots - this resulted in missed opportunities for sure, but it made the editing process much easier. Not needing to spend hours scrolling through ...clip after clip, just getting straight into it and creating a highlight reel. I think a lot of creatives stress too much about getting heaps that we forget about the final product and story, but also we forget to enjoy the moment and take it all in. I had a blast, and I got some really sweet footage - but the biggest thing I took from this night, and the first thing that comes to mind when I think about it is the fun I had with the team, not the gear I had or shots I got. Remember to have fun, it makes the jobs easier but it also helps you push through the late nights and long edits. - Also, remember to check your camera profiles. I was operating 2 Canon 1DX Mark IIs and both had a very different image at the end - one was much sharper and saturated because I forgot to manually calibrate the profiles.
