13.01.2022 Rocky came up the tunnel, so I let him into the house (there's a flap, but he doesn't know how to operate it yet, and Fluff was right behind him blocking the way back down). He's been having a good look around, eating leftover food and playing with the ball track opposite Tiny Stripe, who tolerated him... He should be available for adoption soon, so put him on your wishlist!

06.01.2022 In preparation for Hercules's journey to the vet on Friday, we are practising 'go and eat the food inside this friendly red box'. Earlier this afternoon I also learned the hard and painful way that he's smart enough to tell the difference between the grabber stick and the arm that is using the grabber stick to push him, and if he's already mad because he wants to threaten Fluff but the grabber stick won't let him, he may jump over the stick and express himself in very strong terms toward the offending arm instead.

06.01.2022 Extremely important Fluff update! After I successfully lured him to touch the beanbag for the first time earlier this evening, with a toy I like to refer to as the Beaver of Doom, he came back to it, got into it on purpose, and went to sleep!

01.01.2022 Here we are again in the deck enclosure, balancing the desire to give Hercules his time out in the fresh air against his tendency to make horrible noises at Fluff. So far I'm managing to keep him under control from a safe distance by giving him a zap with the squirt bottle when he gets yowly.
