25.01.2022 A beautiful thank you from a great client. So grateful I get to work with people everyday who value what I do. #thankyou #lucky #floral #bouquet #newcastlensw #lakemac #virtualassistant #va #smallbusiness

25.01.2022 I’m going to offer some suggestions over the next few days for people who are new to the working from home experience. Today’s tip is to create a dedicated work space. Not everyone has a home office but it’s important to find a space you can use to do your work from. Make sure the space is comfortable and make sure it’s ergonomically suitable for you to work at for long stretches. It’s also really important to ‘go home’ from work when you’re finished for the day. This can be ...tough if you’re working from home. If you can, close the door on your work space. If not even covering your work area with a blanket or sarong will give you a mental switch from work life to home life. #homeoffice #ergonomics # takecare #selfcare #worklifebalance #supporteachother #staysafe #covid_19 #remotework #workingfromhome #neatadminco #va #virtualassistant #outsource #businesssupport #adminsupport #adminservice #smallbusiness #NewcastleNSW #NewcastleAustralia #lakemac

25.01.2022 Technology really is our best friend right now!! Some great free apps I absolutely recommend for remote working are Trello, Toggl and Zoom. Trello: For the list lovers. This app is simple and can be customised to be really pretty as well! It allows us to create and share multiple lists from complex project plans to your weekly grocery shop. Toggl: A timesheet tool that keeps track of the hours we work. Let’s us set up multiple clients and multiple projects or tasks for eac...h client. Tracking your time is a game changer! Zoom: If we didn’t already know about Zoom before COVID-19, we do now! It’s a simple, seamless video conferencing tool. Phone calls are great but Zoom allows us to record the session, share our screens and see each other’s lovely faces! #homeoffice #technology #trello #toggl #zoom #videoconference #timesheet #todolist #takecare #selfcare #worklifebalance #supporteachother #staysafe #covid_19 #remotework #workingfromhome #neatadminco #va #virtualassistant #outsource #businesssupport #adminsupport #adminservice #smallbusiness #NewcastleNSW #NewcastleAustralia #lakemac

24.01.2022 Care for each other is our top priority right now! As more of us are having conversations and meetings remotely, take time for the small personal conversations that happen more organically when we meet face to face. Start calls by asking questions like how are you feeling? How’s your week going? How are your kids/family/dog enjoying having you at home? Spending a minute at the start of a call showing you care is a great way to contribute positively to your virtual workplace! #homeoffice #ergonomics # takecare #selfcare #worklifebalance #supporteachother #staysafe #covid_19 #remotework #workingfromhome #neatadminco #va #virtualassistant #outsource #businesssupport #adminsupport #adminservice #smallbusiness #NewcastleNSW #NewcastleAustralia #lakemac

21.01.2022 If you’re an employer looking for support in setting your staff up to work from home, get in touch. We need to support each other now more than ever. I’ve spent the last 3 years refining my remote working practices and I’m happy to share what I’ve learned. Reach out and we can arrange a time to chat! #supporteachother #staysafe #covid_19 #remotework #workingfromhome #neatadminco #va #virtualassistant #outsource #businesssupport #adminsupport #adminservice #smallbusiness #NewcastleNSW #NewcastleAustralia #lakemac

19.01.2022 Start where you are. I was walking my dog recently around my neighbourhood and from the footpath could see into some of the houses I was walking by. People watching TV, getting dinner ready, enjoying their spaces. I found myself thinking maybe it’s time to move. Maybe I should find a different house, sell the one I’m in and move to a new house. It was a surprise thought for me because I love where I live but the more I looked in on the lives of my neighbours the more I dec...ided moving was a great idea. Then I realised, what I actually needed was to spring clean my own home. From the outside, not one of these houses had dust. No one’s bookshelves were cluttered, floors weren’t strewn with toys (in my case dog toys!) My looking in and dreaming of living there instead of here was because I couldn’t see the reality of what living there would be like. The new year can be a pressured time. As a collective we are declaring to the world what we are going to do differently this year. We are going to get new jobs, new bodies, new homes, new lives and they are going to be amazing and so much better than anything we had previously. Except they’re not. We fundamentally are who we are. New year’s resolutions aren’t going to change that. Change comes from small, seemingly insignificant places. Instead of moving house, maybe I just need to just dust the house I already live in. Instead of a new job, maybe we just need to tighten the boundaries of how much of our lives we give to our work. Instead of extreme diets, maybe we just need more water and earlier nights. Don’t let the pressure of a new calendar year make you feel less than. You’ve got this! One tiny step at a time, you will shine through another year. Look forward to sharing more of myself with you all in 2021.

18.01.2022 A client said this to me recently and it feels like the ultimate compliment! My job as a VA is to be in the background, to do all the messy chaotic stuff that lets my clients shine. Having that unseen effort recognised and appreciated made my day! #grateful #clientfeedback #effort #effortless #va #virtualassistant #outsource #smallbusiness #businesssupport #administration #adminsupport #adminservice #newcastlensw #newcastleaustralia

15.01.2022 Allow yourself to take inspiration from the things around you. Take an extra second to notice what those things could be. You never know where inspiration might come from.

14.01.2022 The feeling of accomplishment is a great one. However to achieve that feeling, you have to work hard and get something done. Keep going and don’t give up and you can accomplish anything you set your heart on. ... #mondaymojo #monday #mojo #neatadminco #va #virtualassistant #getitdonef #raccomplishment #outsource #growth #smallbusinessquotes #businesssupport #adminsupport #adminservice #smallbusiness #NewcastleNSW #NewcastleAustralia

10.01.2022 Make sure that you are giving yourself the time to appreciate how far you’ve come. Look back on what you stared with and be proud of how far you’ve come. Enjoy your journey.

06.01.2022 Open to new ideas, Open to new lessons, Be open to opportunity allows you room to grow, discover and learn every day.

06.01.2022 Part of getting further and accomplishing more and more is letting yourself dream. Dreaming bigger and allowing yourself to follow and achieve those dreams. So go back, look at how far you’ve come, but also let yourself start to dream again.

04.01.2022 A reminder that although things can be tough, it is important to keep putting in the effort.
