25.01.2022 June 1 Update - Big V Return to Sport: VJBL - Basketball Victoria, in consultation with the Junior Representative Commission and VJBL delegates, has cancelled the upcoming Friday 4 June VJBL round. This round will not be replayed or caught up due to previous catch-up games held for the February lockdown using the reserve week. Further updates regarding fixture updates for all VJBL competitions will be made next week. BIG V - Basketball Victoria and the Senior Representative C...ommission have decided to postpone all Big V games scheduled for the weekend of 5-6 June. 20.01.2022 Ready to get into Big V action in 2021 is Lachie Kego - who was first to sign-up under new Coach, Annett. Lachie had a brilliant year in 2019, and is excited about lifting his profile within the League in 2021. Within the team, he will be focusing on providing a consistent inside presence for the Bushies to expand their competitiveness.

17.01.2022 With Victoria currently in lockdown, the mental health of all Victorians will again be tested. Basketball Victoria have teamed up with Lifeline to present a Men...tal Health Round across Victorian Junior Basketball League, Big V and NBL1 South on June 25-27, an initiative more important than ever. Statement orange Lifeline socks will be worn during the inaugural Mental Health Round. These socks are now available for pre-order before the round via Basketball Victoria’s Online Shop for $10 a pair with all sale profits going to Lifeline Australia. Purchase your socks here: bit.ly/BVLifelineSocks. Orders need to be placed by Wednesday June 16 so they can be delivered on time. On the back end of a global pandemic, support and awareness for mental health is more important than ever, and we hope this round provides an avenue for all members inside and outside of basketball to prioritise their wellbeing. We urge all players, coaches, clubs and the community to get on board with this initiative in 2021, and be involved in something that is set to make history.

But with ET came bonus FTs for Mornington from a TF awarded after the full time buzzer, giving them the 2pt lead. We are excited to seal Jarmal's signing for the upcoming season and can't wait to see him utilise his strength and size as a pivotal force in our Bushies' offense.
