Nectar Farms Stawell project - Stage 1, is a 10ha hydroponic glasshouse, worth over $80 million and will employ more than 75 people following a 12 month construction program with commissioning in May 2018. Nectar has partnered with Australian owned builder, Georgiou Group and KUBO Group of The Netherlands to design and deliver the first KUBO semi-closed greenhouse in Australia. The Stawell project is the first of a planned 80 hectares of high-tech glasshouses that Nectar Farms proposes to build over the next 5 years. Nectar Farms Managing Director Stephen Sasse said This project has been in the planning phase for nearly three years. We are delighted that we are about to commence construction.
