11.01.2022 This is our trusty smoker. We use it to gently calm the bee's, preventing any harm to them... or to us. The smoke distracts the bees as they start filling up on honey. It also masks the pheromones they release instructing them to sting. 09.01.2022 I can't think of a better way to cool down on a sunny afternoon than Sarah's honey, mint and lemon ice tea Local spring eucalyptus honey, homegrown lemons and mint. Recipe: 2Tbs Spring Eucalyptus Honey... 2 Black (or green) tea bags 1 lemon, juiced 1 bunch mint Brew the tea in boiling water for 2 mins. Remove bags and allow to cool. Stir in the honey and lemon juice to dissolve. Add mint. Top up to 1L with ice. Pour a glass and relax

06.01.2022 Sunset Beekeeping Last night I got back out to check on the bees at our Mariginiup site, after a couple of weeks away. The sunset was stunning behind the hives. But beekeeping is a journey of ups and downs, and while most of the hives are thriving, I found we had lost two, which is always hard. #beekeepinglife
