18.01.2022 My lunch from yesterday was my new take on potato salad and I have to say I enjoyed every mouthful of it Baby spinach, tomato, avocado, broccoli, cauliflower and roasted potatoes topped with chili & lime sea salt flakes, pepper and the BEST home-made natural dressing from Kitchen Twelve 09 in Nerang! Now to decide what to have for lunch today



18.01.2022 I know in times of my life I have looked to others to make my life happier, less rushed, more relaxed and I have always tried to keep everyone else happy without worrying about myself - it simply doesn't work. We have to take responsibility to be the best version of ourselves for us and not for anyone else. Once we change our mindset everything outside of us will change along with it. What is one goal you would like to change in your life now to be the best version of you? ...Share it with someone so you can be accountable - it's step one to success! 18.01.2022 Welcome to 2021 and also my first time back after a long (& needed) break from social media! What does 2021 look like for you? I spent New Years Eve (after watching the fireworks with my family , two of my loves in life) calling in 2021 and setting my intentions for the year. For me, this always includes health. I have decided that fresh food and nutrition will play another major role for my health in 2021. I’ve been doing the 16 Weeks to Wellness Program for a while now ...and have found it helps to keep me on track with eating good nutritional food so I am going to keep up with it. I'm excited that the summer edition starts on the 11th and am so looking forward to seeing all the new content! Health education is my favourite part, understanding the WHY behind what to eat, how my body works and what it needs to thrive, makes it so much easier to make and keep the changes, not to mention the hundreds of whole food recipes (gluten and dairy free), meal plans and online support I have with it. 17.01.2022 Spring 16 Weeks to Wellness started this morning! The last few weeks I have been having a bit more gluten in my diet and have noticed how it has really affected my body and how my lupus has fleared up a lot more. I'm excited to be started fresh again today (it's great that we get to reset whenever we choose too) and eating only fresh fruit and veggies for my cleanse period and getting life back on track. ... I'm always so excited for the education and growth part of the program as I always learn so much which opens my awareness even more to food and life. Our first module is tomorrow night on Transformational Alchemy. Have you ever felt like you have the awareness of what your obstacles are, you have read all the books and listened to all the Drs and Naturopaths yet you still aren't able to crack into that feeling of growth or action? I know I have felt like this at times and always find it easy to make excuses. Transformational Alchemy (noun: Alchemy is defined as the process of taking something ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary, sometimes in a way that cannot be explained) to wellbeing. A state that feels and looks different on everyone but is governed by universal law. I'm looking forward to refreshing my WHY, reminding myself that I am travelling on my own PATH and know with confidence the OUTCOME for me



14.01.2022 When you have to think of something for lunch which is going to be your dinner because you wont be home until after the time you like to eat....... Baked sweet potato, with what veggies are left in the fridge cooked up with Spiced Fig, Maple and Pear Balsamic Vinegar Warming my heart with great food on this coldish day

13.01.2022 What a big week this week has been when there is a birthday in the house!! I started the week with making cupcakes and now I have finished the week making cupcakes While these may not be the most cleanest cupcakes, sometimes you have to have a treat and tomorrow is a brand new day

13.01.2022 Week 2 is all about breathing. I've been feeling a little all out of sorts the last couple of weeks with my thoughts and life, week 2 is a timely reminder to JUST BREATHE. I like this from Nikki Banas - ... Pause. Amidst the busyness. During the days of back to back appointments, celebrations and meetings. During the moments when life seems to be moving at one hundred miles per hour. Pause. Take it all in, right where you are now. Reacquaint yourself with who you are. Remind yourself that you are doing your best and that that is all you can do. Pause. Allow yourself to take a moment to stretch and feel your muscles relax. Let any tension fall away. Pause. Take in as much air as your lungs will allow and just breathe. You are doing better than you think.



12.01.2022 My little helper mixing up another lot of our natural dishwasher powder. 3 ingredients in this one and I know it is much safer than ones sold at the supermarket. Have you ever read the back of the container of your dishwasher powder? - ... CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. Irritant. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not swallow. Wash hands after use. 09.01.2022 I've been experimenting a little with coconut flour since researching it and finding out the benefits (plus making it a great gluten free option!) - check out my post from 18th August to see We made a blueberry and raspberry pie and some flat bread using it. I must say I was pretty impressed with both and the pie went down a treat with our first lot of home made ice cream ... Thanks to The Coconut Mumma for the inspiration! 08.01.2022 I had a small flare up of eczema recently triggered by stress and my diet not being as clean as I normally would - I was having more bread than what I normally would. The small photo is the eczema a couple of days later after implementing the following - I used lavender maillette on it, as well as on my body to help with emotional support and it's quick healing abilities. ... I also increased my water in take and took the gluten out of my diet. Avoiding dairy products, sugar and refined and processed foods is another nutritional way to help with eczema.

07.01.2022 Day three of my cleanse today - green juice from the detox planner in the 16 weeks to wellness. It makes it so much easier when you don't have to think of what to have, it's all planned for you! Feeling much clearer in my mind today. Each day I have been ensuring I am taking 30 minutes for myself to learn more about my health and finish the day with a meditation. Some days are easier than others to do this, but no more excuses - I am important as well

07.01.2022 I'm just a little excited - I have finally made the purchase for our own veggie garden I'm looking forward to getting the kids involved so they can see where their food comes from and enjoy watching them grow. 07.01.2022 The school holidays have flown by first day of term 4 today! I haven't spent too much time on social media (and the cleanse from it has been soooo good!) over the last couple of weeks. I have been busy spending the holidays with some of the important people in my life Our little ones got to make special memories with their grandparents, Daddy had time off work, catch up with old friends, beach days, fishing days, spending time getting our gardens nearly finished and I ...have LOVED every minute of it. Its times like these and enjoying the present moment which really makes you realise the true magic you have in life

07.01.2022 Today I get to spend an extra unexpected day with my family, plus do something I love, due to being in lockdown for 3 days. I snuck away to my bedroom for a moment to enjoy being at home and to do my 12 month card spread for 2021 Grateful for today
