10.01.2022 For those who wish to donate towards those affected by the recent bushfires. Former Nedlands player Gareth Cooks is raising money for his Father and his partner who have lost everything. Below is a message from him: As most of you are aware, the suburbs of Wooroloo and Gidgegannup (Northern Perth) have been absolutely decimated by bush fires as of this evening 80+ homes have been lost. My father, Basil Cooks and his partner Diane are currently between jobs and also between ...houses; they have been living on Diane’s daughters property in Gidgegannup with the majority of their property (not in the house) stored in a shipping container nearby and on the same property. The fire has completely wiped out absolutely everything that they own. There is unfortunately no insurance policy in place leaving them both with nothing to their name and no place to stay. The images attached are all that is left of their belongings. I have rallied the close family and we are assisting in anyway that we can, unfortunately there is still a way to go and we are not going to be able to get there on our own. The current plan is to clear the site and procure a couple 20ft shipping containers to convert into a dwelling. Once modified, insulated and basic plumbing and wiring completed (much of which we can do ourselves), we will slowly start replacing all the essential items lost (bed, fridge, washing machine, tables, couches etc mostly sourced through Gumtree). NOTE We will only use what is needed If there is money left over, this will be donated to one of the bush fire charities to help some of the other families also effected by the fires. I have set up an account in an attempt to get them a little relief money in what I am sure is one of the most challenging and emotionally upsetting periods of their life. I have chosen not to go with GoFund me as they take 30+% from everything that is donated and I really think that money is better off in their pocket than the companies. If you could forward this on to anyone that you think may also be interested in helping out. No obligation and every donation both big and small is truly appreciated. If you are in a position to help I will label you a legend for all time.

08.01.2022 We are pleased to announce registrations for the 2021 season are now open! You can register via the Rugby Xplorer App, which is available to download in the ...App Store and Google Play. You can either sign up for new juniors, or sign in with your email address for any returning participants (coaches and managers included). Our Rego Day will be held on Saturday 27th of February at the Foreshore from 2pm - 4pm. We will have the club open with a bbq on and merchandise available to purchase. Committee members will also be there to help with any enquiries or new registrations. The Junior Committee have been busy planning for another great season, stay tuned for more important dates to be announced. We look forward to seeing you all soon!
