The projects consist of warehouse training and a work like environment, which assists job seekers with skills and knowledge, in both administrative and operational processes in a warehouse. We have also embarked on a Historical publication o...f the Bunbury area, aptly named 'Ova The Years', and a publication of 'Youth Services' aimed at assisting young people in our community to source relative services that deal specifically with a wide range of issues they may face. This will assist job seekers with computer based administrative skills, research techniques, design and implementation of an informative community based publication. NEEDAC has extended its coverage of WFD projects and now has 6 locations throughout the Perth Metro area encompassing Warehousing, IT, Multi Cultural programs, Recycling and creative arts. Our newest project in Osborne Park has commenced with high volume attendance and engagement and a split AM & PM rotation. 14.01.2022 NEEDAC has over the last 12 months hosted some 20 projects in the South West and Perth Metropolitan Area. This variety of projects had had their own levels of participation and engagement profiles and can be measured on their success. The important concept for the Work for the Dole is engagement on behalf of the job seeker and the benefit to the Community.... As each project comes to a close we look forward to engage with the Job Search Agencies and the new influx of job seekers. The group of people in the MIRRABOOKA site in Perth have now completed the work for the dole phase and project. The project was designed around Multi Cultural services available in Perth North. Also over the last 6 months a number of the participants also completed a Cert 11 in business. This output is a very useful tool to support cultural diversity within the Community and is an important legacy for the group that has created this document which is available from NEEDAC.
