21.01.2022 My sincere apologies about the email spam from my mailbox yesterday. My auto responder decided to respond to EVERY email EVER sent to me (even some as long as 3-5 years ago... O.o) Even I had over 1200 emails to delete when I finally got back to my computer! It seems to all be sorted now, however if you are still getting auto responders from me please let me know asap and I will look into it.

18.01.2022 Qantas got a make over! Thoughts on the new logo? I like the typeface and it's references back to the past while still keeping it quite modern. I am however not sold on the "kangaroo" though.. If you didn't know what it was prior I think you would be quite confused now. I get the simplifying around the head but I do think the removal of the arms was a mistake. Wonder how much it's going to cost them to rebrand everything?
17.01.2022 Most of you will have noticed by now that Facebook is very clever at targeting you with ads based on previous searches (fb, google etc). It's very obvious on my personal page. Because I do work for such a diverse range of clients, my Facebook advertising becomes quite a mixed mash of items or even contradicting businesses or products. It's interesting (and sometimes a little annoying) to see what tomorrow's targeted advertising brings!

15.01.2022 This has been most of my day. That 24 minutes is a big lie... when it said 30 (which should have been approximately 6 minutes ago) was almost an hour ago! It is allowing me some chalk time though!

13.01.2022 I hope everyone is staying as cool as possible in the heat. Don't forget about your poor computer overheating as well. Some tips for keeping your computer cool! 1. Keep the computer clean from dust, especially the fans.... 2. If using a MAC then invest in a little USB fan that you can point at the back of the monitor to help keep it cool. 3. Make sure there is space around the machine for constant airflow. 4. and it may seem silly but move your computer to a cooler spot in the house. ie under an airconditioning vent or even just a cooler room. 11.01.2022 I wanted to share with you this gorgeous logo I created for Natalia at Your Beautiful Mind This was one of those logo's that really pushed my creative and design abilities but I think the end result has been a stunning success and really reflects Natalia's personality. Natalia also requested some complimentary graphics to use on other media platforms. They have translated beautifully on her new website at www.yourbeautifulmind.net

09.01.2022 Part of my logo design process is doing an intensive search on images currently being used in your industry but also logos that may have similar aspects. 09.01.2022 As a graphic designer you would be surprised about how rarely I get to see the finished product on a job so It's always a treat to see them but even more when the text message comes with "Banner looks AWESOME!!!!!!"

04.01.2022 So a few weeks ago, my client let me sneak into her and her husbands new business space and paint their wall as a surprise for her husband! No... not just a boring flat colour of paint but something a little more special. Here are some photos! The dojo for Western Sydney Kyokushin Karate is looking fantastic and Moh and Bec have done an amazing job bringing it altogether! Congratulations and wishing you all the best in your new space!

03.01.2022 I thought I would throw back to a logo design done almost 2 years ago. I love when concept sketches transfer to the computer beautifully to create an amazing and unique final logo. The subtle shapes of the bird and the lily blended so perfectly together and then a font added that complimented the design perfectly!
03.01.2022 I have been a busy little bee around here (Did you know that Debbie means "Busy as a bee"). I am really proud of being able to put this amazing magazine together for Brisbane Kids. If you are in Brisbane there are a plethora of amazing things to see and do over the school holidays!
