23.01.2022 I'm self isolating not because I'm worried about my survivability because I worry about my parents, my aunt's and uncles, and older loved ones. #isolation The ...government, for what it's worth, is doing what it can to allow us to be in isolation and although their motives, questionably, may be focused on economics has given us the means to do so. Yesterday, I was impressed that Coles are prepared to instigate online ordering priority to the elderly, retired and vulnerable. Also, for those that need medication, I've seen that Terry White chemist is also offering delivery and for those that are on long-term medication they can use the Terry White app to link directly to their doctor to renew scripts. One of the problems is that many of the elderly are not able to use technology in the way the younger generation can. I, and most in the IT community, do have the ability to assist remotely, whether on their computer, phone or tablet. I urge you to do the same and send this to your loved ones.
