23.01.2022 They don't come anymore old school than this this beautiful 63 Thunderbird I had the pleasure to work on. The 390 FE big block had a couple of leaking exhaust manifold gaskets which also had broken bolts so it required removal of the heads to fix, there's not a lot of room in that engine bay and even less around the exhaust manifolds but it's all fixed and back with it's owner now.

22.01.2022 Nice little Chev powered lx I had in last week for some much needed love replaced the rocker covers with some polished Tc Performance & Race Engines units and new K&N breathers. Also changed out the plugs and leads and added some heat sleeves to stop it melting the leads as it had previously done Now she running on all 8 and sounding a lot healthier. We have a bit of a list for improvements down the track which should make it really get up a and boogie.

21.01.2022 One of my jobs from this week was this Torana, belonging to a family friend it was in need of some attention after being parked up for a number of years. It needed a new master cylinder and wheel cylinders and brake pads a complete flush of the brake system and new fluid. I also replaced a leaking rear wheel bearing seal and fixed the badly deteriorated accelerator pump in the stromberg carb which causing a nasty hesitation. Happy to say now it runs beautiful and stops as well..

21.01.2022 Was a week for 68's Ford and Chev both beautiful examples of their makes. Camaro came in for a tune a good check over and fix a few minor oil leaks, the Mustang had some new brakes fitted to help with it's stopping power.

21.01.2022 Making it a little easier to find us! There is now a new sign for the shed and open board so that you know where the workshop is (and if the workshop is open). We even got a sticker on the work car! Thanks to JT Designs Tasmania for putting them together and to Kingthing Marketing for the awesome logo.

18.01.2022 Anyone who knows italian sports cars will recognize what this is and how much of a privilege it's been to work on. I started this job late last year with the removal of the engine for a very much needed freshen up. It had some lobes missing of the cam and was in dire need of love. I built the motor earlier this year after getting it all machined I put it together with a new hydraulic roller cam, chi alloy 4v heads, roller rockers, hardened pushrods and few other goodies, then... covid hit and things came to a halt. Jump forward till a few weeks ago when I got the car back to refit the engine and transmission as well as some new alloy water tanks and modified cooling system with all new stainless piping underneath as the radiator is in the front. It's been a labour intensive job but I'm wrapped in the finished car and it sounds lovely. For those that don't know it's a Detomaso Pantera Will post a video in the comments See more

12.01.2022 A bit of old school rolled in last week Ex circuit EH Holden with a nice little 186 with a 12 port head and triple 48 dellorto carbs. Is in for a tune but have had to take the carbs off and are being cleaned out after sitting for a few years also had to fix a blown manifold gasket. A general tidy up of the engine bay and sorting a few things for the owner. He’s decided to renew the braid to carbs with some of my Tc Performance & Race Engines fittings and hose should come up a treat. Few more bits and pieces to do before it’s ready to be returned to the customer

11.01.2022 Just a couple of pics sent to me by the owner all back together and cleaned up I do love that rear wing

10.01.2022 Got the commodore all sorted and finished, engine and transmission done v8 tailshaft in with new uni joints and centre bearing as well as all new power steering hoses. Granny spec wheels gone in favour of some nice 5 spokes. Also fitted a new tacho supplied by the owner Already to get exhaust fitted next week and then back for a final tune

09.01.2022 As most people know I stock and sell a whole range of Tc Performance & Race Engines hose and fittings not to mention carb spacers, billet fuel logs and braided fuel rails, fuel pressure regs and gauges and much more. What I don’t stock I can easily get freighted as is needed, so to help promote the business the first 2 people that come in and buy $200.00 of Tc and Performance stock will get a bonus Tc and Performance baseball cap

09.01.2022 Something a little different, my brother and his partner bought this little gem about 8 years ago with the intent on fixing it up, but life gets in the way so it’s sat untouched until today when I went around to try and get it going. With a little encouragement and a good battery it lives again and has now been moved to his own house ready for me to rebuild the engine and electrics. As you can see it had that much power it smoked the tyre the length of the driveway Amy Williams Greg Neep

08.01.2022 Had this awesome example of a torana hatch in this week to adjust and tune the carbs after fitment of a tunnel ram, it truly is a credit to the owner it was a pleasure to work on.

08.01.2022 Had this stock granny spec commodore dropped off today will be removing the old 6 cylinder and auto then fitting a healthy 308 and trimatic to make a nice weekend car out of.

08.01.2022 Been busy on the EH this week, fixed a few issues with the front end, fitted some new gauges and dash pod (I'm still waiting on one gauge to finish it off also tidied up some wiring . Refitted the carbs after getting them back from Pro-Carb Tasmania another amazing job from Ricky, runs like a dream now and they look fantastic. Was sent a photo of the previous owner John Newell in one of his earlier race cars nice old FJ with a bit of sideways action

07.01.2022 **New Phone** Neep Automotive and Performance has a new mobile (just a phone not a new number). It is no longer an iPhone, so we can't receive iMessages. So if you have an iPhone and have sent (in the last fortnight) an iMessage and not received a response, this is why .

05.01.2022 Big of progress work on the new fuel system for my Camaro

05.01.2022 Had the privilege to work on this mustang this week, what can I say the engineering in it is amazing. Running a 408 Windsor with a paxton side mount blower pressurized carb box 5 speed and detroit locker 9inch. The fabrication work is second to none, the tyres are 315x17 on the rear and 275x17 front to accommodate the massive brake set up Giving it a good check over in readiness for its first outing.

05.01.2022 One of my good friends bought this mint little Datsun 1600 a few weeks ago, she had been searching for quite a while to find one. After being parked up for quite a few years it needed a bit of love and attention, running a z18 turbo motor I started with all new fuel lines and filters a brake overhaul and oils changed I had to cut out the roll cage to allow easier access to get in and out (it wasn't functional only there for looks) and generally tidy up some bits here and there to get it for some cruising and reminiscing of the good old days..

04.01.2022 Been busy this week getting the 308 sorted in the commodore Engine and tranny are in as is the new radiator, have re-wired the electrics to suit and plumbed up most of the hoses, just waiting on the high pressure power steer hose to be made a couple of bits and pieces to make it mobile.

02.01.2022 Well after nearly 10 months a few grey hairs and what seemed like endless waiting for parts out of the states I'm glad to say the 390 V8 Cadillac motor is back in its home and purring like a kitten. It was a challenge at times as some parts were hard to source but I'm thankful to a patient owner for waiting to finally get to drive it again today
