15.01.2022 Twenty years ago on the 15th of July the Neerim District Community Bank opened. It has been an amazing journey for all those people who contributed to the project including our customers. We recognise the vision of the group of people who got together over 2 decades ago to get the ball rolling on our own bank branch. A significant task. In normal circumstances we would have had a big celebration but we will leave that for our 21st. In the meantime we reflect on 20 years of service and over $3,000,000 of sponsorships and grants to the Neerim District community. Thanks to the many people who have supported this Community Bank and the hard working staff and volunteers who have made it the success it is today.

Before the COVID-19 crisis even hit, Foodbank was already feeding more than 140,000 Victorians every month including 28,000 children who were in need of urgent hunger relief. Now with the crisis impacting thousands more Victorian families, the numbers of those in need are sky-rocketing. In the wake of COVID-19, and with your support, we aim to raise one hundred thousand dollars to provide food for families struggling to put a meal on the table. Community Enterprise Foundation has launched the Foodbank Victoria Feeding Families Appeal and you can make tax- deductible donations at any Bendigo Bank branch.
