Then you have click on the right career; working as a family day educator from your resident comfort is a rewarding and promising profession. Become part of our self-employed early childhood professional by working in your own residence and taking autonomy in the operation of your business in creating a flexible working days and times that suits both you and every child in your care.... You will have the privileges to care for your children (if applicable) while earning a reasonable income. The hourly rate are set by you and you are entitled to three months no educator charges with NFDC. NFDC provides support, training and professional development programs are available for you. Requirements to be a family day care educator professional are listed below: - registered for free valid Provider Digital Access called the PRODA with the Department of Human Services. - Have obtained or willing to obtain a minimum certificate III in Early Childhood and education. - a current ACT Working with Vulnerable People ID. - Current police check not less than 6 months. - a current childcare first certificate. - a willingness to accept regular support and supervision visit by the service; and - Ensure to acquired and maintain adequate knowledge to support and develop your skills as a family day care educator with the service.
