Even on mild days the temperature inside a parked car can be 20-30 degrees hotter than the temperature outside. When it’s 30 degrees outside, a child could be suffering in up to 60-degree heat. The risk of heatstroke, dehydration and death is very real!... Never leave your kids or pets in your car during warm and hot weather. If you see a child or pet in an unattended car on a warm or hot day call Triple Zero 000 and report the car colour, make and location to police or ambulance. See more

09.01.2022 Tonight at 11.59pm (8th November) COVID restrictions change in metro Melbourne tonight with some limits being lifted. Below is a brief outline with details available via the DHHS link below. Travel ... The 25km travel limit is removed The regional travel ban is lifted Hotels and other accommodation, including campsites, open across Victoria ( limited to two housholds mixing) Hospitality Cafes, restaurants, bars up to 40 indoor and 70 outdoor (subject to strict density limits) This is only a change to very large venues. Indoor sports & activities Gyms permitted to open (20 per venue, 10 per space subject to strict density limits) Indoor rollerskating, trampolining, community centres, neighbourhood houses, toy libraries can open (20 children per venue subject to strict density limits) Non-contact indoor sport for children permitted (20 indoor) Entertainment Indoor entertainment venues like cinemas, music and concert halls, museums, galleries (strict density limits apply) Gatherings Funerals & faith gatherings permitted with 20 indoor and 50 outdoors Unchanged Masks remain If you can work from home, you must work from home Limits on weddings stay at 10 outdoors Home visits remain at two adults (and dependents) once per day Public outdoor gatherings remain at 10 https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus
