25.01.2022 Over the past two years Service Coordinator Lyn Townsend has been visiting transport services in the Western region and southern NSW to train and support them in the use of CTABS -the trips booking systems all CT services use. This week she was recognised at the Routematch National conference on the Gold Coast with the Extraordinary Commitment to Mobility award. Lyn was thrilled to win this award and recognises the valuable support of management in allowing her to fulfil the role of supporting other services across NSW and also the significant contribution of her transport colleagues at Neighbourhood Central, particularly Christie who holds the fort while she is away.

24.01.2022 For all our PARKES clients that are making use of the pensioners 7-8am shopping sessions at local supermarkets, if you have taxi vouchers you can now use two vouchers for your trip to and from the supermarket between 6.30 and 9am. The taxi drivers are aware of this arrangement, which will continue for as long as the special shopping sessions do.

23.01.2022 Volunteer driver Brian with the little pocket rocket Hyundai I30 in West Wyalong. Neighbourhood Central Community Transport recently acquired the WWyalong service and all the wonderful staff and drivers that came with it. The transition was relatively smooth considering travel restrictions and the usual challenges a new service brings, due in no small way to Jackie and Suzanne that work in the WWyalong office and their amazing transport team. #goteamNCtransport

22.01.2022 Meet the volunteer drivers who are continuing to deliver people to their essential appointments during the COVID19 outbreak.

20.01.2022 We do have some fun (in the name of a good cause) as well as working hard in CT :)

15.01.2022 So true. We love our volunteers

13.01.2022 Just wanted to send a shout out to our amazing volunteers that are still transporting vulnerable people to regions (that have confirmed Covid-19 cases) to access essential medical treatment. I always knew our team was special, but this goes so far beyond that. Community Transport volunteers are the most selfless, thoughtful and generous people I know. Right now, Community Transport volunteers right across NSW are taking some of our most vulnerable and unwell community members to access necessary medical treatment in regional centres or city hospitals. Raise your glass to these amazing people that put the wellbeing of others before their own health - FOR NO PAY.

10.01.2022 Driven by our wonderful community transport drivers Ray, Janelle and Laurie

09.01.2022 On 19th November we had a combined transport team meeting/training day. It’s always a fabulous day and this year was no exception. Pictured is our wonderful transport team.

05.01.2022 Spare a thought for our poor drivers, driving clients in these terrible conditions. Yesterday our driver wrote this on his trip sheet!
