22.01.2022 ALERT!!! Tradies' vehicles targeted overnight. Mentone - Tambo Court around 4.40am. Offenders forced entry and stole around $3000 of Dewalt tools from the rear... tray. Cheltenham - Elliott Street overnight - rear window was smashed and Milwaukee tools stolen. The tools were engraved which will make them harder to on-sell and easier for police to identify. Cheltenham - Lorraine Street around 5am - the rear canopy was smashed on a van parked in the driveway. Milwaukee power tools stolen. Edithvale - Cliffe Lane overnight - Hand and power tools were stolen from an unlocked van. Sandringham - Heath Street around 6.15am - The rear passenger window was smashed and generators stolen. * Engrave tools for easy identification * Remove tools at night where possible * Keep vehicles locked at all times * Alarms and sensor lighting deter thieves

22.01.2022 Do you recognise this man? Investigators were told a man approached the female victim at a carwash on High Street in Thomastown on Monday 9 November about midda...y. It is believed the man spoke to the victim about her car before producing a small knife and demanding her keys. The victim started to panic before the offender fled the scene empty handed. The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
