09.02.2022 Not too many locksmiths can boast on the water service. Today wasn’t in the middle of the lake, which I might add I do as well for broken boat ignition keys, but at the marina. Lovely house boat redoing all the locks so when the owners come up they can spend their valuable time enjoying life rather than dodgy locks! #lakeeildon #eildon #eildonboatclub

22.01.2022 Please check your house keys, if they look like this, or have YD-02 on them, you potentially have the same locks as many others! If it’s like the blue ones, you too may be in the same boat! For the blue keys, there is a series of numbers 96001 - 96009 they are very common on sliding doors. If you have these, please consider having these locks changed.

We are all in this together, let’s look after each other’s properties, especially unoccupied ones, as when this is over, we may need that business. Some tips, ensure the doors and windows are locked. 18.01.2022 I’ve had some questions lately about purchasing safes. It’s important to know there are different types of safes, apart from cheap or expensive!! there are data safes, fire resisting and cash safes. A brief description for you. Data safes can fit your Cctv recorder in, 1st thing a crook is going to do is knock off your recorder so you don’t know who it was! Fire resisting safes are good for USB sticks, photos etc, and cash safes are for...... other stuff!! They all have different purposes, with different ratings. If you are serious about keeping stuff safe, send a message or call me, and as always if I don’t answer leave a message! Gun safes, floor safes, filing cabinet safes, small safes big safes, whatever safes!! Keyed, digital or mechanical locks.

11.01.2022 It’s a new world out there as we all know. From Monday I have started to wear a mask, ( not the ugly face one I usually have on!) to, hopefully help assist stopping the spread. 01.01.2022 ...someone said there is a virus going around..... oh well, seeing as I’m a locksmith, I wash my hands all the time because as I work hard and most people have nice inviting white doors, I use graphite and it’s black! So so long as you are honest with me and tell me if your been in contact or not, and you don’t look over my shoulder too close and play with my equipment we can both get on with life!!
