02.01.2022 Despite 2020 bringing setbacks and uncertainty, the year culminated with a number of successes for our research lab. In December we saw our first Honours student, Sandra Jenkner, successfully submit and defend her thesis, and be awarded Upper First Class Honours from the University of Adelaide. This was shortly followed by acceptance into the PhD program and a full scholarship grant. Sandra’s research focuses on improving dental pulp stem cell viability utilising novel techni...ques prior to transplantation into the injured spinal cord. Well done Sandra! #spinalcordinjury #wheelchair #wheelchairlife #sci #disability #paraplegic #disabled #disabilityawareness #quadriplegic #wheelchairgirl #paralysis #morethanwalking #spinalcordinjuryrecovery #wheelchairuser #scpsusa #paraplegia #spinalcord #spinalcordinjuryawareness #wheelchairtravel #tetraplegic #paralyzed #accessibility #nevergiveup #spinalinjury #wheelchairfitness #inclusion #physiotherapy #fitness #spine #sciawareness
