19.01.2022 Graphic Chemical's liquid grounds are back in stock - both Hard & Soft! Hard ground is the ideal choice for fine, linear work, whereas Soft ground remains pliable for more fluid drawing and allows for textures to be pressed into the surface for different types of mark making. Liquid grounds can be poured on to the plate and then levelled out with a brush or roller, or they can be directly applied with a brush. 15.01.2022 Let's talk about Tarlatan! We stock two types of Tarlatan, a Coarse option and a Fine option. The Coarse tarlatan, an open weave cotton fabric stiffened with starch, is the softer of the two tarlatans and is a popular choice for wiping back intaglio plates. The Fine tarlatan has been highly starched and is much stiffer. It requires more breaking in and it removes less ink from incised lines in a plate.
